Bed Bug Prevention Tips

It’s important to understand everyday steps that you can take to help prevent bed bugs. Avoiding bed bugs altogether is much easier than treating a bed bug infestation after the fact.

BLOCK NATURAL ENTRY POINTS
Keep sheets comforters and pillows off the floor.
Keep a healthy distance from the walls and other furniture.
Never place bags or luggage on top of your bed.
Use barriers like the Bed Bug Barricade™ to prevent bed bugs from climbing up bed legs.

BED BUG SPRAY (EASY RECIPE)bed-bug-prevention-tips
Using an essential oil spray is a great way to deter bed bugs and make your rooms smell naturally fresh. Mix the ingredients together and spray on washable linens. Be careful not to mix in too much of the oils since the smell might overwhelm the room or may stain walls and fabrics. Always test a small area of the fabric first.

1 Cup Water
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops essential oil of clove
Mix ingredients in a fine mist spray bottle and shake well before using
